"Giraffes in the Savannah" - 20 x 30 cm

Alejandro Rodriguez Sardinas (born in Havana in 1973) is a Cuban painter who graduated from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in 1992, who has lived in France since September 2004.
He offers a particular look at landscapes out of his imagination.
His paintings combine contrasts of very vivid colors and a very personal technique, which in the end gives a photographic expression of landscapes.
Alejandro Rodriguez Sardinas's paintings intrigue because they create an impression of relief and dynamism.
He is an artist whose paintings deserve to be discovered and he is also an endearing character to meet.
"I practice sign language realism in which the touch of colour is the main element of the composition," explains the artist. "I do not pretend to capture the landscape from a photographic point of view, but as an expression of my emotions, using as a basis the capricious form of drawings and colors. My intention is to get the viewer to internalize the concept of the landscape and "introduce" it into the atmosphere of the painting. What interests me is to gather a lot of elements without affecting the general composition, while satisfying my need to escape."
