I am a self-taught artist who started experimenting with charcoal at the age of 15, eventually switching to acrylic.
I like to use bright colors in my work, using the inspiration that my childhood in a Caribbean country gave me. Through my work, I hope to promote the beauty of Belize as well as capture the simplicity of The Belizean lifestyle and culture of everyday life - a rich mix of Garifuna, Creole, Métis and Mayan traditions...
